Resolving concerns fairly, respectfully and — wherever possible — informally.
Purpose
The Avebury Tribe seeks to resolve concerns fairly, respectfully and informally wherever possible.
Most disagreements can be resolved through discussion.
Making a Complaint
Complaints may be submitted through the website or by email.
Complaints should include:
- Name of complainant.
- Description of the issue.
- Relevant dates and locations.
- Supporting evidence where available.
Complaint Handling
Upon receiving a complaint:
- Receipt will be acknowledged.
- The matter will be reviewed.
- Relevant parties may be contacted.
- A response will be provided where appropriate.
Possible Outcomes
Outcomes may include:
- No further action.
- Informal resolution.
- Mediation.
- Warning.
- Temporary suspension of membership privileges.
- Permanent removal from Avebury Tribe platforms.
Malicious Complaints
Knowingly false or malicious complaints may themselves be treated as misconduct.
Appeals
Where appropriate, a request for review may be submitted if new information becomes available.
