Avebury God and Goddess Walk and Awen Blessing.
The God and Goddess Walk is a ceremonial procession through the sacred landscape of Avebury, celebrating the balance and partnership of the masculine and feminine within nature and within ourselves. Beginning outside the Red Lion, participants follow separate routes through the village before reuniting within the stone circle, symbolising the meeting of different paths upon shared ground. Open to all who wish to take part respectfully, the walk serves as both a public celebration and a spiritual act of connection with the land, the season and the community. The Awen Blessing Following the walk, the Awen Blessing invites participants to gather in a moment of reflection, inspiration and shared intention. Rooted in the Druidic concept of Awen—the flowing spirit of creativity, wisdom and inspiration—the blessing honours the spark that exists within every person. Through simple ceremony and spoken words, it offers an opportunity to begin the day's celebrations with gratitude, mindfulness and a deeper connection to the sacred landscape of Avebury.
